the lawyer, i'd like to say we had doubts over this particular monitor, because i read an evaluation about it, and someone had mentioned which the colours were not way too vibrant, and that ıt had been as if the shades looked slightly washed away, which is somewhat genuine, however it can be fixed in many scenarios, through the menu settings included in the monitor.
The only settings i changed around the monitor was the purity, (i cant remember if it turned out already set to 100 originally) i always set to 100, as well as contrast to 53. the following made the colours slightly stronger, and had less of any washed out look.
subsequently, i experimented with my AMD graphics settings to see if i could make the colours look stronger plus much more vibrant, which in the finale did help, and so i became pleased with what i obtained.
All i can point out is, if you obtain the monitor, you will most likely need to tweak quite a few settings, for both the monitor as well as graphics card. But overall, the monitor looks fantastic on my desk, and playing games such as GTA INTRAVENOUS, Crysis, Fifa 11 appearance fantastic.
